On a slightly windy, but temperately mild day, Ashley and I were honored to be a part of Tasha & Jake’s wedding in Kirksville, Missouri. I began preparing for the light road trip as I do routinely; printing a mapquest, and then translating the 56 line laundry list of directional changes that come in .2 mile increments into a navigable and in-plain-english version highlighting actual highways and right-hand-turns. Ashley pulls the Jips (that’s the the GPS unit) from under the armrest, we settle in for our drive, and I begin to remember their engagement session; more precisely, the genuineness of their interactions and love for one another. I say it a million times, but this stuff is what is so moving, so captivating. And real.
